I was a bagel-maker on the early shift, and it's a rather physically demanding job working the boiler and the ovens--more so than I expected. Pros Got to practice my Spanish! Cons Waking up at 4 am for the early shift making bagels. Great Job! I enjoyed servicing the great customers and meeting new faces every day.
Loved working in the Charlotte location. Management could of been better. Pros Free lunch! I love working here but would love to not play manager when my manager is at another store. Pros Free meals, flexibility. Very negative place to work, manager was very rude. Not allowed to talk to other co workers. Left in a horrible mood every day. Cons Horrible management. I worked there for about two months and then they just stopped calling me in for shifts.
Said that they had no hours for me anymore at that period in time, so I requested them to inform me on several occasions by phone when they will have hours for me again.
They never called me back anyway leaving me hanging, so I had to find another job elsewhere. Yes There are 2 helpful reviews 2 No. The inexperienced management made working there like going to high school. I would not recommend this company as a job for anyone other than a first job for students. Upper management does not address conflicts or issues within the workplace. In my experience they prefer to employ vulgar unprofessional members of management who put the needs of their workers on the back burner.
It was not a good experience for me. Pros Discounts, good training programs, and flexible scheduling if available. Cons Limited if any breaks and unprofessionalism.

Best Brueggers in town. Make that the whole CNY area. It's big. It's friendly. The staff is tops. And the customers are entertaining, especially the early AM regulars. The blueberry bagels rule! I love their new 5-grain whole wheat everything bagel. Healthy AND delicious! Check your sandwiches before you leave the counter. I literally cannot remember the last time I came here and they didn't screw up my order somehow.
And I don't order anything complicated, either! Find me here most mornings. Great staff. Good friends. Love the blueberry bagels! Manan Kakkar December 21, Grilled Cheese with Tomato Soup , amazing combo to try. They have iced French vanilla coffee! They remodeled to add booths - yuck. Indeed Home. Find jobs. Company reviews.
